The Evelyn Mackin Travel Grant for Education and Research

Sarah Schmeda Kothe, OTR/L, CHT, is a Certified Hand Therapist with experience treating both pediatric and adult upper-extremity conditions. She currently works at Children’s Hospital Colorado, where she also serves as the Pediatric Hand Therapy Fellowship Program Coordinator. In this role, Sarah develops educational programming, mentors therapists, and supports the advancement of specialized hand therapy practice. She is passionate about education, professional development, and improving access to high- quality rehabilitation services. Sarah has also participated in international medical missions to Honduras, collaborating with local providers to support patients with complex upper-extremity needs.
