Janet Albrecht Memorial Scholarship 2023

Congratulations to the recipient of the 2023 Janet Albrecht Memorial Scholarship.

The Janet Albrecht Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Rebbecca J. Zorn, MS, OTR/L, to support her preparations to sit the Hand Therapy Certification examination.

Rebbecca J Zorn works as an occupational therapist in the outpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation department of Hackensack University Medical Center in northern New Jersey. She graduated from Dominican College of Blauvelt, NY in 2017 and has been practicing occupational therapy ever since. She lives in northern NJ with her husband, 1 and 1/2 year old son, and is currently expecting her second child due early December 2023. Rebbecca’s pursuit of the CHT credential has been several years in the making as she has worked alongside her former clinical instructor gaining the necessary practice experience to sit for the exam and seeking out continuing education aimed at hand therapy. Rebbecca’s goals include becoming a leader in the OT OP department as HUMC looks to expand its offices beyond their initial location.”
